Southern Vermont is a popular place for motorcycling, and riders from Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, New Jersey (and points beyond) spend many a relaxing weekend (or week) on the country roads of beautiful Vermont. And there sure are a heck of a lot of interesting Things To Do around here!

2010 Summer Motorcyclist's Special

Between May 1st and September 16th, 2010 we are offering the following discounts to motorcyclists:

Sunday thru Thursday 15% off for any our suites (#1, #2, #4, or #5) and 10% off for Room #3, Room #6 or Room #7.**

The same discounts will apply for Friday and Saturday nights, provided that the reservation is being made within 3 days of your planned arrival.

** Since we know that inclement weather can cancel a bike trip, we will not charge our stated cancellation fee to motorcyclists if you have to cancel your reservation within 2 days of your planned arrival date because the Weather Channel's forecast for your stay date(s) turns sour.

In Spring, Summer and Fall our winding roads, gentle grades, fantastic scenery and cooler temps make for a most enjoyable ride.

The Chester House Bed and Breakfast welcomes touring motorcyclists. We understand the biker mind-set and we'll do all we can to make your time off the bike as enjoyable as the time you spent on your bike getting here.

Les and Michael, visiting from Vancouver, BC and from South Africa, stayed at the Chester House while touring Vermont and other beautiful areas of New England on Harleys they rented in Vermont.

We have ample private off-street parking adjacent to the Inn and a big old barn where you can park your bike during the night next to ours, out of the rain and morning dew. Bikers find our Jacuzzi, whirlpool and steam shower (in rooms 4, 1, and 2 respectively) particularly relaxing after a day's ride.

When touring several days, why not consider using the Chester House as your "home base" and travel North one day and circle back, East the next day and circle back again, etc.
